         Special Event
A Dramatic Portrayal of Corrie Ten Boom

The United Methodist Women of Ohltown United Methodist Church invited the community to hear a special event which shared the inspirational story of forgiveness from the perspective of Corrie Ten Boom. We heard the journey of her life in prison and concentration camps after being turned in to the Nazis for hiding Jewish people in her home in Holland during World War II. Her survival allowed her to spread the message of love and forgiveness to the world. 

Outreach

The UMW made blankets to be given to those in the Hospice House and Akron Children's Hospital. The ladies, along with a few guests, were able to make a large variety of blankets and shawls.
